I was pretty happy with this Eseries device. In many ways it was a culmination of every smartphone I had owned prior.

BlackBerry 8700g

Email was great, the browser seemed okay and BlackBerry Maps was an unexpected treat.

When I got it back in December of 2006 it seemed like there was nothing it couldn’t do.

Those fat and squishy rubber keys made it just about the best qwerty smartphone ever…

I believe the expression “Sony guts” would apply here…
